Keltec Exchange Health and Upgrade Assessment

In order to prevent risks and vulnerabilities from becoming real threats to your business, it is essential that Microsoft® Exchange environments are maintained and kept up to date. If you are considering a migration to Microsoft® Exchange 2003 or 2007, then the Keltec upgrade assessment service will help your organisation and help you understand the state of readiness of the environment to be migrated.

The Keltec Upgrade Assessment service is designed to provide an informed insight into the areas that should be considered in your environment and your readiness to migrate. Our Professional Services Mail and Messaging practice has a proven track record in understanding, planning and completing this transition for our customers.

The Process:

  • Review of your existing messaging system, architecture and network topology.
  • Review of the business goals that need to be achieved from the new messaging system.
  • Readiness check for the existing system to be migrated to the new platform.
  • Suggest improvements in the existing messaging framework and pre–requisites for moving onto the new system.

The assessment is conducted through interviews and with full cooperation of the IT teams within your organisation. It is essential that key personnel are available during this process to ensure all elements are captured efficiently and accurately.

Deliverables:
At the end of assessment phase the information and findings will be reviewed and fully documented in a report. This report will be presented to you during a planned review meeting, usually within a week of the day on site. The report will highlight the following;

  • Review and feedback of the existing messaging infrastructure.
  • Summary of Specific Concerns or areas of risk
  • Highlight immediate Service Improvements in terms of readiness, performance and availability.
  • Potential improvements
